PROS

  1. Exceptional and versatile camera system: The phone offers arguably the best camera hardware and photo quality in a smartphone, with excellent detail retention across all lenses.
  2. Outstanding 200MP telephoto lens: The periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom (85mm equivalent) is a standout feature, capable of incredible zoom shots and detailed macros.
  3. High-quality ultrawide camera: The 50MP ultrawide camera uses a large sensor, delivering class-leading image quality and low distortion.
  4. Stellar display quality: It features a bright 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness, and excellent color calibration.
  5. Powerful performance: Equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and up to 16GB of RAM, the phone offers fast, smooth performance for gaming and multitasking.
  6. Excellent battery life: The large 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery can easily last a day and a half with heavy use, outperforming many rivals.
  7. Fast charging support: The device supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, with the charger included in the box.
  8. Premium build quality and durability: It has a solid aluminum frame, glass back and front, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
  9. Fast and reliable biometrics: The ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor is fast, secure, and accurate.
  10. Useful accessories available: Optional add-ons like the Photography Kit with a physical shutter button and an external teleconverter lens enhance the shooting experience.

CONS

  1. Limited global availability: The phone is primarily launched only in China, making it difficult to purchase and use in other regions without importing.
  2. Software issues outside of China: When imported, the Chinese version of the software (OriginOS) has issues with certain Google services like Google Wallet and Wear OS, plus problematic push notifications for apps like WhatsApp.
  3. Very large camera bump: The substantial camera module makes the phone bulky and can cause it to be top-heavy.
  4. Mediocre microphone quality: Microphones are considered average and are noticeably worse than competitors like the Samsung S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro.
  5. Average video performance: While photos are stellar, video quality is not consistently competitive with top rivals, showing occasional issues with color and stabilization.
  6. No 3.5mm headphone jack: The phone lacks a traditional headphone jack, which may be a drawback for some users.
  7. No expandable storage: There is no support for a microSD card to expand storage further.
  8. Aggressive software optimization: Vivo's aggressive battery optimizations can interfere with background apps and delay notifications.
  9. Software needs refinement in some areas: The software can occasionally have bugs, untranslated Chinese text in menus (on imported units), and feels less polished compared to other Android skins.
  10. No 8K video recording with main camera: While 8K recording is available on the ultrawide camera, it is not an option for the main camera, and portrait video is limited to 1080p resolution.
