PROS

  1. Extremely Slim Design: It held a record for being one of the world's slimmest smartphones at just 6.3mm thick, offering a premium feel.
  2. High-Fidelity Audio: Equipped with a dedicated Yamaha YSS205X digital signal processor, offering superior audio quality for music lovers with wired headphones.
  3. Good Camera (for its price): The 13MP rear camera produced decent photos in good lighting conditions for a budget/mid-range phone of its era.
  4. Decent Performance: The octa-core MediaTek processor (MT6592) and 2GB of RAM offered smooth multitasking for basic applications in 2014.
  5. 3.5mm Headphone Jack: It featured a standard 3.5mm audio jack for wired audio compatibility.
  6. Affordable Price Point: It was a budget-friendly option that provided a premium, slim feel upon its release.
  7. Basic Functionality: Reliably handled essential smartphone functions like calling, messaging, and basic web browsing.
  8. Dual SIM Support: Features dual SIM capability, which was a practical feature for managing two network connections.

CONS

  1. Outdated Operating System: Runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) with FunTouch OS, which is extremely old and completely unsupported by modern apps or security standards.
  2. No Expandable Storage: The device did not have a microSD card slot, limiting users to the internal 16GB storage option.
  3. No 4G Connectivity: Only supports 2G and 3G networks, meaning very slow data speeds and network incompatibility with modern standards.
  4. Limited RAM/Storage: Only 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage are severely inadequate for any modern use.
  5. Battery Not Removable: The slim design meant the 2200mAh battery was non-removable.
  6. Low Battery Capacity: The 2200mAh battery capacity is very small compared to modern phones, requiring frequent charging.
  7. Basic Camera Performance: The camera quality is very poor by today's standards, especially in low light conditions.
  8. Plastic Build: While slim, the body was primarily plastic, which lacked the durability and feel of modern premium materials.
  9. Proprietary Interface: The older Funtouch OS lacked the refinement and features of modern Android interfaces.
  10. Regional Availability: Primarily available in Asian markets, it was not widely available globally.
